We are a peer support group providing hope and encouragement to stroke survivors in the Peterborough region of central Ontario
We currently meet on the 4th Wednesday of every month at North Minister United Church at 300 Sunset Blvd in Peterborough Ontario from 1-3pm. Our activities typically include sharing information and personal experiences, providing mutual support, and enjoying time with friends who understand life after stroke!
We have a non-exhaustive list of resources that provide information, encouragement, and support to assist with integration back into society post-stroke.
We are grateful for the support we have received from March of Dimes Canada in our quest to cope with the ongoing effects of stroke. To show our appreciation, we participate in their annual fundraising campaigns. The next campaign Step Up for Stroke will begin in June 2024, so please check to see how you can donate.
